In todays on-demand world where everything you need is at the touch of a button; Huston Patterson provides all clients access to our online quoting portal. The portal is set up through our website, www.hustonpatterson.com, under the pricing tool and can only be accessed with a certified username and password. To gain access to the portal, you will be required to obtain a username which is set up internally by our IT department. A request for access can be sent to a Client Service Manager, Client Service Project Manager, or Client Service Rep via email which will then be passed along to IT. Once the request has been processed, you will receive an automated email from Huston Patterson directing you to our website to set up a personal password for ongoing access to the portal.
The pricing tool is very user friendly which I recommend to all clients and prospects who currently run litho quotes with Huston Patterson. For anyone who knows litho, no job is the same, so our offering does include a variety of options on how to run your quotes. Every client/company has the option to set up as many ship-to locations as they would like. Whether we ship the litho direct to them, a 3rd party labeler or send top sheets to one of the companies within the region to laminate sheets for them. Most stock options are accessible including litho #70, #80, and #95 as well as the main top sheet calipers 9pt, 10pt, and 12pt with either grain long or short. Our presses can accommodate up to 8 color work (1-8 PMS colors or 4 color process & up to 4 PMS colors) with either Aqueous or UV coating and these can be selected in the portal. In addition, one can run multiple print versions at once with up to 6 different quantities. Once all information is entered, click the save button and the quote will instantly pop up.
For any newcomer to the industry, this can all be overwhelming which is why I recommend they run the quotes and send me the details so I can confirm the accuracy. If a quote requires more detail then our portal allows for, please send along to your Client Service Manager and they will have the quote run by one of our Client Project Managers.
